Animal Box Office Collection Day 1
Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy
Vanga and featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika
Mandanna, has made an astounding global debut. Released on December 1, the film
has made history by achieving the highest opening for a non-holiday release in
Hindi cinema. Animal's worldwide box office collection on day 1 reached an
impressive ₹116 crore. The filmmakers announced this achievement on X (formerly
Twitter), confirming early estimates that anticipated the crime drama to
achieve a massive ₹100 crore globally on its opening day. They shared a poster
with the caption, 'The biggest non-holiday opening in Hindi Cinema ever.
Worldwide gross ₹116 cr.'
Animal Box Office Collection Day 2
Ranbir Kapoor's starrer, Animal,
has made a powerful impact at the box office, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's
Pathaan in both worldwide and Indian opening day collections. After an
impressive first-day earning of Rs 63.80 crore, Animal is poised for an even
stronger second day. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the crime epic directed
by Sandeep Reddy Vanga has already accumulated Rs 30 crore (as of 4:30 pm) on
Saturday. The portal predicts that the film might achieve a total of Rs 66
crore on the second day across all languages in India. Animal boasted an
overall 57.05 percent Hindi occupancy on Saturday by late afternoon.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala
highlighted Animal's robust second-day bookings in India on social media.
According to his post, Animal secured the highest second-day bookings compared
to films like Jawan and Leo. Animal leads the chart with Rs 29 crore in day two
advance sales, followed by Jawan with Rs 22 crore and Leo with Rs 20 crore.
Bala wrote on X, "Animal North America Gross $2.5 Million & Counting.
Setting the box office on fire. Highest grossing Hindi film on Day 1."
On day one, Animal earned Rs 116
crore globally, surpassing SRK's Pathaan, which made Rs 104.80 crore worldwide
on the opening day. However, it remains uncertain if Animal can outperform
Pathaan's second-day collections. Pathaan earned Rs 70.50 crore on day two,
while SRK's Jawan earned Rs 63.50 crore on its second day following a Rs 75
crore opening day haul.
Animal, featuring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, has received mixed reviews. Fans have praised Ranbir Kapoor's performance but criticized Vanga's controversial storytelling. The film clashed with Sam Bahadur at the box office, directed by Meghna Gulzar and starring Vicky Kaushal, which managed to earn Rs 5.50 crores on the opening day.
