If you missed Apple's latest event, here's a complete rundown of all the new iPhones, smartwatches, and earbuds revealed today.

iPhone 16

As September arrives, so does the latest lineup of Apple products. During its highly anticipated event in Cupertino, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 16 series, alongside the Apple Watch Series 10 and two new sets of AirPods. While the spotlight was on the new iPhones—both standard and Pro models—the company also introduced the A18 chipset and previewed the capabilities of the iOS 18 update, powered by Apple Intelligence. Here’s a detailed look at everything that was announced.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus

Apple has introduced the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, available in fresh colors like ultramarine, teal, and pink. Both models feature dust and water resistance, with display sizes of 6.1 inches for the iPhone 16 and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 16 Plus. These displays offer a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and can dim down to 1 nit in complete darkness. A new Action button, similar to last year’s Pro models, allows users to customize functions for quick access.

New this year is a “button”-style camera control, enabling easy camera operation with a swipe. This feature also integrates with Visual Intelligence, an AI-powered tool debuting in iOS 18 that provides contextual information about anything you point your camera at—similar to Google Lens. For instance, it can automatically add event dates from a flyer to your calendar. The iPhone 16 lineup is equipped with a 48-megapixel Fusion primary camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a new ultrawide lens, which can capture Spatial Photos for viewing on Apple’s Vision Pro.

Under the hood, the iPhone 16 models are powered by the new A18 chip, featuring a 16-core neural engine designed for advanced AI tasks. The chipset includes a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU, optimizing it for the new Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18. The improved efficiency of the A18, combined with iOS 18 enhancements and larger batteries, is expected to provide significantly longer battery life, although Apple did not specify exact figures.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus start at $799 and $899, respectively, with availability beginning on September 20.

iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max

The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max take the Pro lineup to the next level, featuring 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch always-on ProMotion displays. Both models are built with Grade 5 Titanium, making them lighter than their stainless steel predecessors. They are available in four colors: desert (a dusty gold), white, black, and natural.

These Pro models are designed to fully leverage Apple Intelligence with iOS 18, powered by the new A18 Pro chipset, which offers even greater speed and efficiency thanks to 3nm transistors. The Pro models also boast a powerful rear camera array, consisting of a 48MP Fusion camera, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens, allowing for 4K slow-motion recording at 120 frames per second. A new camera control button makes accessing shooting and editing tools faster, and the phones feature four studio-quality microphones for superior audio capture, including spatial audio recording.

Both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, as well as the regular iPhone 16 models, support Qi2 wireless charging. Apple is releasing updated MagSafe cases that accommodate the new camera control button. Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max open on September 13, starting at $999 and $1,199, respectively, with general availability on September 20.
