Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal features a stellar cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal thrusts violence to its zenith, with gore taking center stage. It's a bloodbath, wild and wicked, unveiling Ranbir Kapoor in a devilish and unhinged avatar. Loved yet resented, the film's problematic premise, discussed since its teaser, unfolds into a series of events, emotions, and sequences culminating in an underwhelming climax. The rushed ending leaves you waiting for something more beyond the credits.

Animal guides you through a bloody, noisy, gory, and violent journey, immersing you in its gripping tale and scale. Ranvijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor), glorified as an anti-hero, idolizes his father Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor) but faces unfulfilled yearnings for love and attention, leading to early daddy issues with lasting repercussions on his formative years.

The basic idea and characters.
In a high school flashback, Ranvijay, fueled by a desire to protect his sister from ragging, wields a gun, earning him tight slaps from his father. As punishment, he's sent to a US boarding school. Returning for his father's 60th birthday, he clashes with his brother-in-law Varun (Siddharth Karnick). A love angle unfolds, leading him to flee to the US with his lady love Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna) due to familial resistance against their inter-caste marriage.
